Rangiroa
World's second-largest atoll with a turquoise lagoon big enough to hold an island.
Rangiroa is the largest atoll in French Polynesia's Tuamotu archipelago — a thin coral ring enclosing a lagoon so vast that Tahiti could fit inside it. Two narrow passes channel ocean water in and out, drawing dolphins, sharks, and manta rays into world-class drift dives.
